Curious Incident
of the Log of the Flight-Times
Inspired by the use of the origins of 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the
Night-Time' by whatreallyhappened.com, I have designed a flier called 'The Curious
Incident of the Log of the Flight-Times'.
For anybody unfamiliar
with the artwork - it is based on the cover of the adult edition of
the book, 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' by Mark
Haddon - itself taking its title from the following dialogue from The
Adventure of Silver Blaze a Sherlock Holmes mystery by Sir Arthur Conan
Doyle:
Gregory: 'Is there
any other point to which you would wish to draw my attention?'
Holmes: 'To the curious incident of the dog in the night-time.'
Gregory: 'The dog did nothing in the night-time.'
Holmes: 'That was the curious incident.'
From this, Sherlock
Holmes deduces that the the person who stole the racehorse Silver Blaze
was not a stranger to the dog - hence the application to the apparent
NORAD stand down.
