A
journalist since 1958, John Pilger has the reputation of being one
of the few remaining voices in the media with any integrity. He has
spoken out on controversial subjects when the footsoldiers of the
mainstream media have all fallen in behind the flag of patriotic propaganda.
His
body of work cannot be underestimated as in times of international
crises, outside the alternative media it has frequently remained
the last visible trace of sanity in a world of corporatism and neo-imperialism.
