The CIA proposed that I assassinate Fidel in Chile, Veciana
confesses
It was the CIA that informed Antonio Veciana Blanch, 10 months ahead
of time, of a visit to Chile by the president of Cuba; it proposed he
should organize Fidel’s assassination, directed him to carry it
out in a press conference and provided his transportation with weapons
to Santiago in a U.S. diplomatic vehicle. This was confirmed to a Miami
radio station by Veciana himself who, aged 79, decided to confess some
of the crimes he has committed over close
to 50 years for the U.S. intelligence services in their dirty war on
Cuba.
Iraq war veteran and experienced demolitions expert blows
the cover on 9/11 inside job.
Wolf has a broad and varied background as a US Army Combat Nurse
during Operation Iraqi Freedom, building construction contractor, certified structural
welder, certified asbestos and hazardous materials worker, experienced
demolitions expert, teacher, radio
show host, and well studied 9/11 truth activist. Torin knows how to put a building
up, and bring the same building down in its own footprint.
De Menezes shooting: UK's top anti-terror officer is singled
out
The country's most senior anti-terrorist officer will be heavily criticised
in an official report published tomorrow into the events surrounding
the killing of an innocent Brazilian man in south London, the Guardian
understands. While Sir Ian Blair, the commissioner of the Metropolitan
police will escape serious censure from the Independent Police Complaints
Commission
over his role, Andy Hayman, the overall head of counter terrorism and
intelligence, is understood to have been singled out for being deliberately
misleading.
Hezbollah 'can hit all of Israel'
Sheikh Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the current Secretary General of the
Lebanese Islamist party Hezbollah, said his organization had weapons
capable of reaching every corner of Israel. This rare interview with
Nasrallah marks a year since the month-long war between Israel and Hezbollah
freedom fighters. What does this mean in the long term for the current
state of the affairs in the Middle East? No peace; as long as one country,
with full support
from the U.S., imposes an illegal claim on territorial land of the Palestinian
people, there will be no peace.
Taliban say 2 hostages very sick, deadline looms
Two women among 21 Koreans held by the
Taliban in Afghanistan are seriously ill, a rebel spokesman said on Wednesday
before the insurgents' 3:30 a.m. EDT deadline for Kabul to free prisoners
in return for the hostages. Taliban spokesman Qari Mohammad Yousuf said
Afghan negotiators had not contacted the militants who have threatened
to kill the hostages if the
Afghan government fails to release a group of Taliban prisoners by the
deadline.
Camp
David "Crash" More Evidence Of 9/11
Media Scripting?
Uncovered archive video showing CBS News reporting that United Airlines
Flight 93 had crashed at Camp David, 90 miles away from its supposed
final resting place at Somerset County PA, has led to more charges that
the media were reading off a de facto script as the events of 9/11 unfolded.
According to a CBS News report on 9/11, an FBI official in Washington
was informed
by the FAA that United Airlines Flight 93 had crashed "into
the vicinity of or at Camp David," the presidential retreat.
Video reopens debate over Beslan attack
A video that remained secret
for nearly three years after the horrific Beslan hostage crisis has cast new
doubt on official conclusions about what led to the
deaths of 334 people, more than half of them children, during one of Russia's
worst terrorist attacks. The footage is far from definitive, but appears to lend
credence to the theory that security forces bear at least some of the blame
for the high death toll.
Gotcha: Murdoch wins Dow Jones
Rupert Murdoch is poised to get his hands on the biggest prize in his
long career in newspapers, after members of The Wall Street Journal's
controlling family abandoned their opposition to his $5bn (£2.5bn)
takeover of Dow Jones, its parent company. The Dow Jones board was meeting
last night at the end of a day of wheeler-dealing which persuaded key
members of the Bancroft family to change their minds
and support a bid for the company.
Impeachment as Political Solution to Iraq War
It has become cliché to say that
this Iraq war cannot be won militarily. Equally comfortable with this
admission are hawks who would turn on a dime if they thought the insurgency
was capable of collapsing, and doves whose primary objection to the war
is its 'mismanagement'. Trouble is it never really was a
war because there was no opposing side. What was there was known to be
easy picking - minimally armed and
quickly demoralized.
Korey Rowe Could Be Sent Back To Iraq - Loose Change producer
'sent back to unit'
Korey Rowe, one of the producers of the huge 9/11 truth film Loose Change, may
be sent back into the heart of battle in Iraq within a month if he is officially
returned to his unit according to a story run by the New York Daily Star today.
The Star reports that Rowe has been returned to his unit, the 187th Infantry
Regiment,
part of the 3rd Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division, which is gearing
up for its third deployment to Iraq sometime this summer, according to announcements
made by the Pentagon back in May.
Khmer Rouge prison chief charged
The former head of the notorious Khmer Rouge S-21 prison has been charged
with crimes against humanity at a UN-backed tribunal in Cambodia. Kaing
Khek Lev, better known as Duch, is the first of five Khmer Rouge leaders
to be charged in connection with the deaths of an estimated
two million people. After a closed-door hearing before the joint Cambodian-United
Nations tribunal in the capital, Phnom Penh, the former schoolteacher
and now
a Christian was taken into provisional custody of the court.
European Hypocrisy: A Palestinian View
Europe’s policy with regard to Palestine/Israel is so racist, short-sighted,
counter-productive and hypocritical that it could almost pass for American
policy.
When looking at the current situation in Palestine, an observer will
find an illegal Israeli occupation that has been festering for 40 years,
combined with illegal ethnically-exclusive colonies built on stolen Palestinian
land, and the world’s only ethnically-segregated road network,
where many routes can only be accessed by Jews.
Big Brother Hits The Beach
At the beach of the future, high tide will meet
high-tech.
Visitors will wear wristbands that automatically debit their bank accounts
or credit cards to pay for beach access, food and parking. Garbage cans
will send e-mail to cleanup crews when they’re ready to be emptied.
And people won’t even think about trying to sneak in: Beach checkers
could scan the sands with handheld devices and instantly know who didn’t
pay.
