Latest Osama bin Laden video widely denounced as fake

Analysts across the globe have observed inconsistencies in the video ostensibly released by Osama bin Laden on 8th September 2007 - said to be intended to coincide with the sixth anniversary of September 11th 2001. Video and transcript

It is claimed that proof lies in the fact that all the contemporary references which bin Laden makes are during video freezes and that the rest of the video refers to events prior to the invasion of Iraq - thus suggesting that audio has been inserted into an old recording.

It is also claimed that the 9/11 hijacker whose pre-attack martyrdom video bin Laden introduces is Waleed al Shehri who is actually living in Casablanca and protesting his innocence - as if still being alive were not proof enough!

It isn't the first time that freshly released videos of Osama bin Laden have come under scrutiny - not least for the expedient timing for the Bush regime. A widely discredited tape purporting to show bin Laden claiming responsibility for 9/11 shows a man of considerably larger proportions who looks very unlike bin Laden. He wears a gold ring (contravening his Islamic faith) and is clearly right handed even though the FBI website states that Osama bin Laden is left handed.

Even The Independent reported that Osama bin Laden's beard looked false. It said:

'The US government is analysing videotape that appears to show Osama bin Laden in a false beard, marking the sixth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.'

Given that the latest wave of propaganda for perpetuating the war in Iraq shows a clip of flight 195 hitting the South Tower of the World Trade Center along with the words 'they attacked us', implying that Iraq were behind the attacks (despite there being absolutely no evidence that Iraq had any involvement whatsoever), it is clear that enough of the American public are willing, if not eager, to swallow anything - having been adopted a state induced fear mentality.
